My wife, Nancy, and I joined Divine Saviour in September 2015. It became a temporary assignment, at that time and now I have received a letter from the Bishop making this a permanent assignment for me as of July 1, 2016. I was Ordained June 12, 1999 in the Archdiocese of Denver and have served as Deacon there, Pasco, WA and Lake Wylie prior to coming to Divine Saviour. Nancy and I live in Charlotte, have 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grands. We’ll be married 54 years this July.

My husband Philip and I have been members of Divine Saviour church since 1996, and we have 3 children. In 2010, I took the position of Secretary here at Divine Saviour, working with Father Elbano Munoz. In July of that year, Deacon Henry Bernal and Father Adilso Coelho were assigned to Divine Saviour. Over time, my position evolved to Administrative Assistant. I love the people of this parish who embraced a transplanted northerner and made me feel right at home so many years ago.

I graduated college in 2016 with a Bachelor's in science: Accounting. My family joined Divine Saviour in 2003, and I have grown up in this parish, and am now a Wife & Mother as well. I am Bilingual, speaking Spanish and English, which helps in my duties here at Divine Saviour. In 2012 I became the official Wedding Coordinator, and took on the role of Religious Education coordinator 2015. I love both of these roles, as they allow me to see the many facets of life in the Sacraments of parishioners.
